These are original songs I’ve written. There are so many more that never got recorded, and a whole slew of them that exist somewhere in someone’s hands that I no longer possess. Should you have a copy of the SONS OF CEMENT BONES DEMO TAPES, please hit me here.

If you did not know and are new to the thought of writing a song, “DEMO” is short for “DEMONSTRATION”. It’s how you present the song to your bandmates in hopes that A., they like it and want to play it, and 2., they can clearly make out the instrumentation and feel of the song. Demos don’t have to be perfect. Just get the point across.
I enjoy Demos because of the innocence and rawness of the artform. There’s zero business propaganda in a Demo. There’s no better ‘zone’ to be in than the act of creation, be it a song, a painting, a cake, or even a human life. Some of those zones are high stakes and should not be entered into cavalierly. Let’s admit it: cakes can be finicky.
