I had fallen in love with MICHELLE as a child, and then there was AMY when I was a teen. SALLY had a few songs, and then even BOSTON wrote AMANDA. I set out to write a song for a name no one had done yet. Actually did research. Came up with STEPHANIE. That was cool, because I didn’t even know a Stephanie so there would be no awkward moments. Wouldn’t ya know it, after I wrote it and deciphered the words, I wish I DID know this Stephanie. She sounds boss.
