Here’s an instance where I DO have the demo I recorded on my phone.

The second recording has a lead guitar tone that is my all time favorite I’ve ever recorded. I don’t know what it is…maybe an AC30? It sounds like a trumpet in some spots…I love that.
I think Kevin Beck and I tried recording this with a drum track, and we just couldn’t figure it out.
We couldn’t find the ‘one’ (the first beat of the song), couldn’t figure out the time signature, (how many beats in each measure), and even when we’d get close to figuring that stuff out, we couldn’t figure out how to make it sound different.
That’s why I like this song. It’s like nothing else you’ll hear.

I always, and I mean always, have just wanted to be a part of something big…something beautiful….
