TABOO

TABOO started out as a very rough demo, and we must’ve liked the structure, or the fact that it had any structure at all, because we continued to hone it until we could play it perfectly. Kevin Beck and I wrote these demos in the GILSON LOUNGE, and there are two of them. The first is literally us throwing spaghetti against a wall and seeing if it will stick. The second is on the DEMOS page, and its pretty close to this final version. Hearing it now, I can see that I finally found the right rhythm guitar part at the very end of the demo. That’s why you make demos.
I am proud that this live performance is only 4:57.
PROON was recorded here live from Billy Ray’s Cafe on April 3, 1994.
Frank Brocklehurst on bass, Bart Holcomb on lead guitar, Bryan Bakevich on Fender Rhodes Electric Piano, Shelly Asselin on Backing Vox, and Scotty Allshouse on drums.
