TRIP

An original WHITEBREAD song written after going to see MAX CREEK at KATINA’S (yes, I have dates on all my lyrics.) in South Hadley, MA with Little Mikey Fudge Drawers, P.J., Deano, and Keith Eisenlohr. A song that has some true Jamband vibes. We were all becoming huge Creek-freeks, and the inspiration here is quite evident. A nice short single-type ditty. Even our ardent fans in the audience can’t believe how short the song is πŸ™‚ I dig it to death.
Great drum part by Scotty once again, and Derek hasn’t really ‘found’ it yet (the song was written expressly for this show as a ‘single’) but with the right amount of plays he would have come up with the perfect part. Jodi on the bass knows where this song fits in our geographical/musical landscape and keeps the spaceship bouncing along. Kev and I? Once again we’re most likely hanging on to a wing and smiling while we fly through space. We were in heaven.
Recorded at the GILBERT HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM SHOW 4/3/92.
