Written, once again, so I could expel some mental energy in homage to that movie and the job it did successfully inspiring me to stop wasting time. Recorded by Christopher Eddy with sound effects and percussion by Christopher Eddy. I think it’s as strange a composition as you can record while still have a structure and a melody. Using an open blues guitar tuning. The clock chiming at the start was a happy accident as we began recording. That part at the beginning when the bass guitar comes in sounds like Within You and Without You by the Beatles and I love it. The first and last appearance of Ol’ Blue, the toy megaphone. Creepy.
