SAILING

I just always wanted to be in Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
I put Paul through hell with this song, and in the end I had to give in. I got it as good as I could to match what I heard in my head. I used a Fender Super Reverb that was lying around in the studio just because it’s the same kind of amp Derek Reeves used for a while back when we were in Whitebread. Time was getting short, and the deadline was looming. I couldn’t spend too much more time on this song. It wasn’t a real team effort and that was on me. We never played it live, and it was just a demo I had made and wanted to record before I died. So I did. There are days when I can listen to Sailing,
and days where I simply cannot.
Dom Ursone on rythym guitar and backing vocals, Rich Yirga on bass, and Jonathan Lichtig on drums.
Recorded for the CD LIFE ON LIFE’S TERMS at the ROCK BARN in East Hartland, CT.
